Education and Background

Dr. Babbar grew up in Melbourne, Australia. He completed both his undergraduate studies and medical school education at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in 2013.

He went on to the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH for his urology residency, which he finished in 2019. He stayed on at the Cleveland Clinic for a one-year GURS accredited fellowship in Male Genitourinary Reconstruction, Prosthetics and Men’s Health.

Certifications and Memberships

Dr. Babbar won the “Urology Fellow of the Year” award at the Cleveland Clinic during his fellowship. He is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio. 

Dr. Babbar is a member of the American Urological Association and board-certified with the American Board of Urology.

Recognition

Boston Scientific, a leading national medical technology company has recognized Dr. Paurush Babbar as a Center of Excellence for its AMS 700 Inflatable Penile Prosthesis – a long-term treatment option for ED patients. The designation is bestowed on physicians based on their high degree of experience with implanting the penile prosthesis, along with a commitment to educating ED patients about treatment options.

Dr. Babbar performed over 140 prosthetic urology cases in 2023 and represents one of the highest volume implanters in the United States. He is the first urologist to receive Boston Scientific’s Center of Excellence designation in Ohio. Dr. Babbar is also on the Strategic Advisory Board for Boston Scientific and is intimately involved in shaping the future landscape of ED treatment in the United States and worldwide.
